Starting a new trucking company?
We’ve got you.
It takes a few steps but we’ll get there. Here’s how you can start.
Get your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Apply for a CDL at your local DMV office. You’ll need to follow strict federal guidelines for obtaining a CDL, each state also has its own requirements. After that, you’ll need to pass a written knowledge exam and a driving skills test both designed by your state. Feeling overwhelmed? We’ll help you stay organized.

Start planning and dive in
You’ll need a business plan to get started. Don’t worry, you’ll refine it as you go. Figure out the mechanics: What structure works for you? Sole proprietorship or Partnership? Limited liability corporation (LLC) or Corporation (C-corp, S-corp, etc.)? Need help? We’ve got you.
Get into finances
Look into your financing options, try to secure a line of credit. Have enough to cover the first six months of your operations? Great. We’re halfway there.
